What is the Explore service?

Our Explore service is for customers who have already purchased a design. The service enables you to virtually try out different customization options. One of Pique Label’s designers will work with you to create a few customized concepts of the label — updated with your wine information and modified to complement your brand name/personality.

Psst… in case you’re wondering, our Explore service is exactly the same as our Try service except the Explore service is provided at a discounted rate (our way of saying “Thanks for your purchase!”).

What’s included in the Explore service?

At your direction, the designer will make modifications to ONLY the front label contained within the product, creating up to THREE “customized concepts”. Each customized concept will be provided to you as a presentation-quality mockup.**

The designer will not provide you with editable files or ones that are of a quality/resolution that is adequate for printing. Print-ready files can be prepared for you separately via our Prepare service.

How does it work?

After you purchase a product, you’ll be emailed a link from which you can purchase the Explore service.

Once we receive your order, we’ll contact you to set up a day/time to chat over the phone. We encourage you to invite members of your team to the call, as well as your commercial printing representative (if you have one).

To make the best use of our Explore service, it’s important that you have first internally discussed and established well-defined objectives for the label and be able to communicate those to our designer. Also, if there is a style, personality, color scheme, etc. you would like to achieve, it’s extremely helpful to be able to provide the designer with benchmark examples. 

After the call, the designer will provide a brief written summary of the call which contains a description of each concept to be created as well as action items for the customer. Once the designer has received all the information and content they need from the customer (if applicable), they will get to work on creating the customized concepts and will send them to you for review as presentation-quality mockups**.

During the review/editing process, minor tweaks can be made to the mockups, but changes that fall outside the original scope of the project may require the purchase of additional presentation-quality mockups (at the discretion of the designer). We’ll provide you a link from which you can purchase additional presentation-quality mockups via our website.

**A presentation-quality mockup (PQM) is a digital pdf file that contains a preliminary customized label concept (a label that has been modified at your direction) presented on your choice of up to three different styles of standard glass topped with your choice of capsule color. Up to three presentation-quality mockups are included in the Explore service.

Customers requiring more than three presentation-quality mockups can purchase additional mockups for $500 each.
