Selecting the Right Design
There’s a few things to consider when selecting a design:
Exclusivity
We offer both Exclusive and Non-Exclusive designs.
While you can use either to create packaging for any food, beverage, tobacco, and cannabis product, there is one important difference between our Exclusive and Non-Exclusive products:
Exclusive Products are meant for the development of a unique, one of a kind product that is sold under a brand name.
Our exclusive products can be used to build a unique brand.
Our exclusive products are sold only once, to a single customer.
Our exclusive products come with generous licensing that allows for unlimited promotional use.
Our exclusive products can be sold/assigned should you decide to one day sell the amazing brand your built.
Non-Exclusive Products may only be used to create a “generic” and/or limited edition product that doesn't display a brand name.
Our non-exclusive products can be used only for the creation of “generic” and/or limited edition wine that may display only NON-BRANDED packaging.
Our non-exclusive products are sold multiple times to many customers.
Our non-exclusive products come with restrictive licensing that allows for the creation of only a few types of NON-BRANDED sales and marketing materials.
Please Note: All sales are final so it’s important to read the Terms and Conditions before making a purchase. Please contact us at support@piquelabel.com with any questions!

VALUE ADDED FEATURES
All our products are highly versatile, but some contain value added features that provide even more flexibility.
Look in the product description to see if the product contains any of the following value added features:
Some of our products contain more than one design — each distinctive yet complementary, enabling you to create multiple products that are visually cohesive.
Look for this symbol ( ) in a product's description, which will be accompanied by an indication of the number of extra designs the product contains.
Some of our products contain a copy of the design(s) provided at a much larger size than the label. This larger copy more easily allows for the creation of large promotional items like shippers and aisle displays.
Scalable Graphics are either limited or unlimited:
Limited: Scalable Graphics are “limited” if they contain raster art. Consequently they can be used to create only smaller promotional materials. This is because raster art becomes blurry/pixelated as it increases in size.
Unlimited: Scalable Graphics are “unlimited” if they are created with 100% vector art. They can be enlarged to any size (even the size of a billboard) and still retain their quality.
Look for this symbol ( ) in the product description, which will be accompanied by an indication of whether the graphics are limited or unlimited.
Some of our products contain a design provided in multiple label sizes.

Customization options:
LET US HELP: We provide a free text-only customization service with every label design purchase (i.e. updating the brand name, varietal, romance copy, etc). If you need more specialized customization services (i.e. changing colors or fonts, adding a logo, adjusting the label size, etc) we can help with that too! Learn more about our services here.
DO-IT-YOURSELF: Our products are built for D.I.Y. customization so you can easily use your own in-house designer or contractor to modify the design to suit your needs.
PRINTER: If you plan on producing your labels at commercial printing facility, the printer might be willing to make minor customizations to your label for a nominal fee or free of charge as part of securing your business. Some printers may even be able to provide more extensive design services. Never hurts to ask!
Tell your printer the following:
"Pique Label told me to tell you that their label designs are built and packaged according to industry standards. The design file is provided in a fully-editable .AI format, is highly organized, uses intuitive naming conventions, and includes bleeds, die lines, and linked artwork. That's right... NO MISSING ARTWORK!! They said you would know what that means and be really happy about it."
